
The Digital Communication Network event in Seoul will explore how digital technologies are reshaping education and workforce development.
This event will bring together educators, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss strategies for integrating advanced digital tools—such as AI, blockchain, and cybersecurity—into teaching, training, and professional development.
Discussions will highlight how emerging technologies are transforming learning formats, from AI-driven personalization to immersive virtual training. A key focus will be aligning education with industry needs, ensuring a workforce that is adaptable, capable, and future-ready. Practical skill-building workshops will provide hands-on experience in integrating digital tools into modern learning environments.
Event Format
DCN’s hybrid events gather up to 100 in-person participants and speakers. The event will be streamed and recorded. Informal networking opportunities will be created during meals and social activities. All activities will be conducted in English.
Participants
Participants will be selected through an open application process based on stated expertise and interest in the listed topics. Special consideration will be given to those individuals who can contribute to and benefit from the discussions. The event will include representatives from as many countries in the region as possible.
- Up to 80 participants from Southeast Asia and the Pacific (Australia, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam)
- Preferred ages 18 - 35
- Proficient in conversational English
Speakers
Speakers will be selected from global experts recommended or identified by the DCN programming team. You can also recommend a speaker here. Individuals who register as participants may also be invited to speak.
Logistics
The forum organizers will arrange and cover economy-class flights, shared hotel accommodations for participants, and single rooms for speakers, along with most meals and social activities. Participants are responsible for obtaining visas.
