He was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Dean of Engineering and Natural Sciences Faculty at SDU, Almaty, Kazakhstan in 2018. He earned a BS degree in Computer Science at SDU in 2003, an MS degree in Computer Science at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State University, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at SDU in 2013. His research interests include microlearning and IT education.
