The 28th edition of Give a Day will focus on "Shaping the Future: Transformative Strategies for Cambodia’s Young Entrepreneurs”.
Cambodia's entrepreneurial ecosystem can be described as nascent, but it has strong potential, driven by a youthful population eager to innovate and transform the economy. Despite, many young entrepreneurs face significant barriers, including inadequate access to education that emphasizes practical business skills, limited funding opportunities, and a lack of structured support systems.
This session will delve into current insights on support programs aimed at fostering a strong entrepreneurial spirit among undergraduates, with a focus on cultivating a vibrant pool of young entrepreneurial talent and also provide a platform for discussions to identify skill gaps, uncover opportunities, and explore innovative strategies to empower young entrepreneurs, enabling them to drive innovation and achieve success.
OBJECTIVE:
- Share insights, experiences, and lessons learned from ecosystem actors’ perspective that focus on building the pool of potential startups/entrepreneurs.
- Identify skills gaps of the local talents and determine the necessary support tailored to nurture aspiring entrepreneurs.
- Foster and advocate for collaboration among Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs) to strengthen connectivity, inclusiveness, and coverage of the support network.
