EnergyLab Asia is an innovative not-for-profit organization driving a fair and impactful transition to renewable energy in Southeast Asia. We were established in Cambodia in 2018, and are based in Phnom Penh. Over 2024, we expanded our operations to Lao PDR and now work across Southeast Asia to advance clean energy solutions that benefit the entire region. We bring together diverse stakeholders to accelerate the energy transition through policy events, strategic analysis, and capacity building. Growing the Clean Energy Ecosystem - We initiate and/or guide Clean Energy policies, instruments, and regulations to stimulate RE demands. - We facilitate collaboration between key actors interested in supporting, funding, and growing the clean energy space, and we shadow them on demand. - We nurture Clean Energy startups and entrepreneurs, along with next-gen Clean Energy professionals. Clean Energy Knowledge and Advocacy - We raise awareness and develop knowledge related to global, regional, and local progress in clean energy. - Evidence-based advocacy is targeted to policymakers, diplomats, development partners, think tanks, universities, businesses, and influencers mostly in Cambodia but also regionally.
